About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

I completed my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at University of California, Merced in May 2014.

I enjoy studying physical problems, and my current research investigates tissue health through diffuse reflectance measurements. My PhD advisor was  Arnold D. Kim.

I am passionate about making mathematics more accessible to STEM majors. I also have diverse interests such as dance, theatre, rock climbing, baking, and generally enjoying the outdoors.
